New York-based five-piece Twin Sister spent the winter holed up in the Hamptons to write and record their debut album. According to the band’s website, they spent a lot of their time dreaming of summer soirees in the kind of house they could never afford outside of the desolate off-season.
Bad Street sounds like the result of this party pining with its wibbly funk, cool electronics, and pristine pop melodies. It will certainly provide a perfect soundtrack to a hot night of revelry, whether you’re high in the Hamptons or getting down in the ghetto.
