Mount Kimbie – Carbonated

UK duo Mount Kimbie’s new EP takes its title track from last year’s Crooks & Lovers album. but it’s definitely worth revisiting.

Carbonated builds on some ambient sounds and a lush two-step groove, adding first a teasing melody then gorgeous cut-up vocals. By the end it almost feels like a party, though its still the mellowest place on the block.
